Beef and Pork Patties (Broiled)

Broiled beef and pork patties featuring bacon, onion, and garlic mixed into the meat for extra flavor.
Cook: 14-16 minutes • Total: 23 minutes
Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 1 cup minced onion
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1½ cups soft breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- ½ cup water
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ¼ teaspoon marjoram
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
Instructions
- Preheat broiler.
- In skillet, cook bacon, onion, and garlic until bacon is crisp.
- Drain; put into large bowl.
- Add all remaining ingredients; mix well.
- Shape into 8 patties.
- Broil, 6 inches from the heat, 7–8 minutes per side, or until done.
