The Garden City Strip

Garden City (between Star and downtown Boise) has become a craft beer corridor. You can easily hit 5–6 breweries in a walkable stretch along Chinden Blvd and surrounding streets: Barbarian, White Dog, Woodland Empire, Edge, and more.


🍷 Wineries & Wine Regions

Sunny Slope / Snake River Valley AVA (30–45 min)

The Sunny Slope area near Caldwell/Marsing is Idaho’s wine country. Warm days, cool nights, volcanic soil — perfect for bold reds.

Pro tip: The Sunny Slope Wine Trail lets you hit 5–8 wineries in a day. Open year-round, but summer weekends have live music and food trucks at many stops.

Several wineries have urban tasting rooms in Garden City and downtown Boise — Telaya, Coiled, Cinder Wines, Split Rail — so you don’t have to drive to Sunny Slope every time.
